This last weekend was amazing and totally blew away my expectations. I was so incredibly proud of the Warriors for Life and their strong showing in D.C. this weekend. They were dragged around, delayed traveling, and missing a few of their friends due to Covid. Never-less, they persisted
And represented the state of Minnesota with class and enthusiasm. I had so many other groups and adults coming up to me and complementing our group.
Looking back over the past 4 years, I can not help but notice the huge strides this group has made. Our first ever National Pro-Life March had only 8 members attend (check out the last photo). This year there were 13 of us (5 had to miss due to Covid)! When I first help start this club 3 years ago, it had 5 members. Now, there are 25+ members who show up on a weekly basis. The commitment these students have to ending abortion is so inspiring. But more noticeable than that, is the commitment they have made to each other. Without the support of our fellow activist, non of us would be able to handle the pushback we receive on our campus.
This last weekend was just the boost we needed to start spring semester. Marching with 150,000+ others reminds us that we are valued and important. We celebrated the 49th and LAST birthday of Roe v. Wade. We are ready for big things.
Not only are we ALL IN for Life, We are lit on fire to protect it. We are ready to rock this semester!
Side note, I wanted to shoutout the fabulous Jenna and Savannah for their awesome t-shirt design. Students were going up to the SFLA booth and trying to buy it.
