The draw application period for the 2026 Public Waters alligator season will open on June 1 and close on June 12.

-> The Public Water Season will run from noon on August 28 until noon on September 7.

Remember, all applications for the 2026 Public Water Season will now go through our MDWFP Hunt Fish License System.

-> If you do not yet have an account in the new license system, we encourage you to do so before the draw period opens!
