The first Game & Crafternoon of the semester is today! While we only have enough craft supplies for up to 25 people, we encourage you to:

1) Partake in the books & letters themed games!
2) Show up in case registrants cannot attend/drop
3) Bring Your Own Craft (BYOC) project to work on and enjoy the collective craft vibes (we know we'll be bringing our own along tonight)
4) Explore and use our game collection! Maybe even check out a game for a couple days.
5) Check out our available Craft Kits
6)Enjoy coloring and sudoku sheets provided by the library
7) Work on our newest puzzle at the puzzle table

WOAH, registrations for our Game & Crafternoon for this Thursday are FULL! Don't let that discourage you from showing up to the library for the event, though. Registrations give us an idea of what to expect. While we only have enough craft supplies for 25 people, don't forget that you can still:

Thank you to everyone who showed up for our Game & Craft Social on Thursday, and our Check-In, Check-Out with a Librarian chill and color-a-thon on Saturday! The embroidery table with librarian Amanda Pruka was packed, and we were happy to debut our new Craft Kits, which can be checked out at the front desk. We were thrilled to have the Winona Creators Collective making clay pots and trays with students this year. JimmyJams rocked it with games (we forgot to get a picture of them--trust us). Our awesome folks brought Cricut cutouts galore. Students also completely filled in an enlarged print-out of this Greetings from Winona postcard designed by local community artist Sarah Johnson ().

Did you miss your chance at DnD with President Janz? Fear not, Warriors, we have more plans for DnD in the library with our favorite Dungeon Masters! What kinds of adventures await...?

Tea Tuesdays come with a new twist this year! Anyone can come and go with a cup of tea as usual (11 am until the hot water runs out). But, if you're looking for a chance to sit down and really get that class reading done (or that chapter that left you on a cliffhanger), swing by the Front Desk and get a stamp-card/stamp your card, and then head upstairs and join the Silent Reading Club!

No small-talk needed, just good productive energy with your campus-mates. Get 12 Silent Reading Club stamps over the semester or the academic year, and you get a mug (and some additional goodies)!

Silent Reading Club will take place on the North wing of the second floor (take the stairs next to the front door, and then look to your left).

Ebooks Minnesota, in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, continues to grow its collection of trusted health and wellness resources with the addition of many new titles from Mayo Clinic Press. These ebooks offer reliable, accessible information for readers of all ages, from young children learning about medical mysteries and healthcare careers to adults seeking guidance on aging, chronic conditions, nutrition, and overall wellness.

The expanded collection includes more than 70 new health-related ebooks covering a wide range of topics.

Published by Minnesota-based Mayo Clinic Press, these titles reflect Mayo Clinic’s mission to provide trustworthy, evidence-based health information for everyday life. These ebooks are available statewide through Ebooks Minnesota at no cost to readers.
