GENERAL ELECTION

Notice Is hereby given as provided in Minnesota Statute 304B.33 that a General election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices listed below.

The filing period for Mayor and 2 council persons begins at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 14, 2026 and ends at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

The place of filing is Stockton City Hall, 8600 D Street, Stockton, MN, 55987.

Candidates may file in person or by mail if the filing is received during the filing period. Candidate who will be absent from the filing period and meet the requirements of Minnesota Statute section 204B.09, subdivision 1a, may arrange to file during the seven days immediately preceding the candidate’s absence from the state.

Part-Time with possible Full-Time Public Works
To help maintain the overall public works systems for the City of Stockton including but not limited to the City Water Works and Wastewater sewer system; city street maintenance; the city park systems; equipment repair and maintenance; and the city buildings.

Sewer and Water licensing training is available if necessary.
Up to 20 hours per week with wages $25 per hour (depending on experience).
