Thank you Little Colorado Medical Center (LCMC) for bringing Jefferson a box full of backpacks for our kids who need them! Parents, don’t forget to schedule your well child visit so they can stay healthy!

Also, if your kid needs a backpack and you are unable to provide one, don’t hesitate to stop by the Jefferson office. We get donations every year for families in need.

Jefferson would like to give a HUGE shout out to the Winslow Unified School District Transportation department!

They came out and talked with our kindergartners about bus safety and did the first kindergarten evacuation drill of the year!

Yesterday we had our August book drawing! These kids earned to be part of the book drawing by working really hard in class and being good peer role models!

🚗 School Zone Speed Limit: 15 MPH
Please slow down and stay alert when driving through our school zones.

🚌 STOP for School Buses
When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop sign extended, you must STOP. Our students may be entering or crossing the roadway.

Please watch for our students, obey school zone speed limits, and always stop for school buses.

Only 2 weeks in and amazing learning is already happening!

Kindergarteners are busy learning how to be students while building their letter knowledge. First graders are strengthening their reading skills and practicing speaking confidently in front of others!
