Winslow Volunteer Fire Department Winslow is a BLS department with approximately 10 dedicated EMT's/Firefighters and 20 Firefighters, servicing approximately 54 sq miles.

Winslow has a wonderful Volunteer Fire & Rescue Dept. It consists of 2- Engines, 2- Tankers, 2- Grass Trucks, and 1- Rescue Squad. The building is relatively new and in great shape. Winslow is a BLS department with approximately 10 dedicated EMT's/Firefighters and 20 Firefighters. We do everything from medical calls to accidents, as well as grass fires to controlled burns and structure fires. We s

ervice approx. 50 sq. miles in and around Winslow, Dodge County & Western Washington County as well as having Immanuel Lutheran Church and Logan View Jr/Sr. High School in our jurisdiction.

-NO OPEN BURING ALLOWED
-CONDITIONS REMAIN EXTREMELY DRY

FRIENDLY REMINDER:
EFFECTIVE MARCH 13, 2026
The Governor has issued and Executive Order that bans the issuance of Open Burn Permits for 14 days. The Executive Order covers usage of any existing burn permit that has not been completed are null and void and open burning is NOT permitted for 14 Consecutive days. The order will be reviewed again prior to the termination of it on March 27th at 11:59pm.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for all of those who turned out to help today at the field fire, Hooper Volunteer Fire Department Uehling Volunteer, Scribner Fire & Rescue, Oakland Fire and Rescue Dept , Fremont Rural Volunteer Fire Department , Arlington Fire, and Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue, Nickerson Volunteer Fire & Rescue and CVA with water trucks ! And the countless farmers who jumped into tractors with disks! And we can't forget the Logan View Public Schools staff and kids who brought us food and water! Thank you everyone!
