What a difference a few days make! Cold, wet and clammy turns into a toasty warm day with bluebird skies! EVERY shady area was well utilized, fun was had, and freeze pops enjoyed.

Great turn out for field day today… thanks to those extra guests who endured the extra degrees of warmth. ☀️😎🙌🏼

We have rescheduled Field Day for Wednesday, 5/27 in hopes of drier fields and warmer weather.

Last Friday history came to life when third grade students shared research with families and guests in the form of a wax museum presentation. Students had fun learning about different individuals who had an impact in their field of expertise, and/or as a notable historical figure.

It was a chilly and breezy outing, but Winsted Elementary’s second graders made the most of their field trip to Gale Woods Farm to learn about farming, animals, and more. We made a stop for some playground fun to wrap up the day too. 😊

Get out your maps! Fourth grade took us on a journey across the country (without leaving campus😉) with their State Float presentations earlier in May. Students researched interesting facts about their state, in addition to the “traditional” important details. Students made connections and comparisons between states while researching, and were ready to share their findings with families and other guests.📍🚘
