Heartfelt gratitude to all who came out yesterday for our Annual Fall River Community Cleanup! We were so pleased with the turnout and could feel the love for our community and nature, an awesome reminder of how deeply connected we are to the natural world around us and this beautiful place we call home. We hope to keep the momentum going and want to thank everyone for continuing to be mindful and helping keep our community and watersheds clean and flourishing!

Thank you to Friends of Main Street Winsted for co-hosting the event with us, to Mario's Tuscany Grill and McGrane's On The Green for providing the delicious after-work pizza, and to the Connecticut River Conservancy for inspiring us through their annual Source to Sea Cleanup! 🫶

We had a great time yesterday at the Fall Foliage Festival meeting you and speaking about invasive plants in the area (well, as much as you can enjoy speaking about invasives 🙃). There were even a few junior stewards who stopped by to say hello, such as these kiddos donning one of the button badges we were giving away and a "nature rocks" shirt. Heck yeah, it does.
