💙💚 Thankful Thursday | Celebrating Dr. Shari Wright

Today, Connecting Thru Housing celebrates our Founder & CEO, Dr. Shari Wright, whose heart for service continues to make a difference in the lives of others.

🏠 This year alone, Dr. Wright has helped more than 15 families secure housing. She has also invested thousands of dollars in scholarships, helping create opportunities for students to pursue their education and their dreams.

As a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, service is more than something Dr. Wright does—it is part of how she leads. Whether helping a family find a home, supporting a student, or responding to a need in the community, she continues to lead with purpose and compassion.

Dr. Wright, today we simply say THANK YOU.

đź’™ OVER 400 UNIFORMS. OVER 400 REASONS TO SMILE.

Our Back-to-School Uniform Giveaway at Carver High School was about so much more than uniforms—it was about making sure our children felt confident, supported, and ready for a new school year!

Connecting Thru Housing was blessed to provide over 400 school uniforms to families in need. And we made sure there was a little fun along the way! 🎶

The DJ was in the building, the treats were flowing, the games were going, and most importantly—the kids were HAPPY and the parents were appreciative. Seeing those smiles reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

But our support doesn’t stop when the school year begins.

Connecting Thru Housing offers 11 programs and services designed to assist individuals and families experiencing crisis and help connect them to the support they need.
