🌱 Fitzgerald Garden Fresh!

Our Teaching Garden is thriving. In August alone, we harvested more than 175 pounds of fresh produce, bringing this year’s total to 340 pounds—and counting!

The garden’s produce is shared across Second Harvest’s culinary programs and Nutrition Services team, as well as with our friends at Thejugobar.

We’re starting the season with smoothies! This hands-on class will introduce students to basic knife and measuring skills while creating delicious smoothies.
