Did you know???

The organization specializes in providing infants with custom layettes that contain diapers, onesies, sleep and play sets, bibs, socks, body wash, lotion, washcloths, bottles for non-breastfeeding moms and pacifiers. Baby board books and literature for parents about the importance of reading to babies and literature regarding infant safety is also included.
On average the contents of the layette costs $140.00.
Each month Outreach Alliance for Babies, Inc helps approximately 40 families

Please "reply all" and let everyone know if you will attend the Board of Directors meeting that is scheduled Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6:00-7:00PM.

The meeting will be held at 1708 Woodstone Drive.

The EXPO and what needs to be taken care of the day of the event will be discussed..... ( 24 days before the EXPO).

We will also develop a timeline for the 2015 fundraiser which is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015. We have seven months. A short time to

prepare for a great celebration.

Outreach Alliance for Babies Inc. is a grassroots 501 (c) (3) public non-profit organization founded May 2005. The organization's mission is to provide clothing and other items such as car seats to infants in the community whose families are facing financial challenges.

The organization will host a "Community Agencies Awareness" Expo at Hanes Mall Saturday, September 6th from 10:30AM-2:30PM. The Honorable Mayor Allen Joines is our partner for this event. Agencies will have information regarding their services at individual tables.
There will be entertainment. LaVerne and Farmer Dan will do face painting and balloon sculptures. The team is from Carolina Good Clowns; they will not dress as clowns at our event. ( Some children and adults are afraid of clowns)

Smart Start of Forsyth County has become our partner as of June 13, 2014. You will receive additional information regarding the partnership soon. We will receive books from Smart Start and information for parents that will be placed in every layette starting June 16, 2014.
