Come Meet Our Animals!

Our shelter is filled with wonderful animals waiting to meet their people, and we would love to see you!

Leading off the charge is Trish, our longest-in-care cat. He has been waiting patiently for someone to see just how special he is, and we would love for him to get some extra attention while you’re here.

And these aren't all of the animals looking for homes! We have even more dogs and cats available to meet on our website. Take a look, find a few who catch your eye, then come visit us and meet them in person.

Our adoption fee is $75.

We can't wait to see you and introduce you to your next best friend!

It’s Wishlist Wednesday, and we could really use our community’s help this week.

We are currently at capacity, which means we are going through our everyday supplies faster than usual. From food and cleaning supplies to the items that help keep our animals comfortable and cared for, our shelves are getting low.

Our Community Pet Food Pantry is also completely empty. If you are able to donate a bag or can of pet food, every little bit helps us restock the pantry and support families in our community who need a helping hand to keep their pets fed and at home.

If you’ve ever wanted to help the animals at the shelter, this is a great time to do it. A small donation can make a big difference when we all work together.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the animals in our care and our community. We truly could not do what we do without you.

Today was a GOOD adoption day! We had several of our animals find their forever homes, and we could not be happier for every single one of them.

But Oreo really took the cake!

Our longest-in-care pup has officially been adopted, and we are over the moon. After waiting patiently for his forever family, Oreo finally got his happy ending. Seeing him walk out the door with his new family was such a special moment for all of us.

Congratulations to all of today's adopters, but especially to you, Oreo. Happy Tails! We are so excited for you and your new life.

We need help from our community!!

Our pet food pantry shelves are bare and we need to fill them back up. Please pick up some dry or wet food for dogs or cats and drop it off at the shelter. You can come by during our open hours which are Tuesday through Saturday from 12-4 pm. If you would like, you can also drop off donations in the mornings between 8 and 12 and staff will bring them in.

Just a reminder that TOMORROW is the last day of our $5 adoptions!

We are so sad to see this special come to an end, but there is still time to find your new best friend. Come by tomorrow and meet the wonderful dogs and cats who are ready to head home with their families.

If you've been thinking about adopting, this is the perfect weekend to stop by. Let's make our final day of $5 adoptions a great one and send as many shelter pets home as possible!

A rescue is ready to pull one of our dogs, but we need a volunteer to transport them to Travelers Rest, SC tomorrow. It’s about a 3-hour drive.

This ride is the final step in getting this pup safely into rescue and on the path to a new life. ❤️🐾
