More importantly it is key that those who help form policy and make decisions that impact every American, and the world as a whole, gather unbiased information that is not framed in the interest of investors and the ultra-wealthy.

Don’t let North Carolina’s State Auditor, Dave Boliek, fool you. The NCGOP-led General Assembly has worked tirelessly to strip power from the Governor’s Office and rig every state function against the people.

Trying to coerce the Jackson County (NC) Board of Elections to strip Western Carolina University of its voting site was no matter of convenience and access. This is just another vote suppressing tactic that several North Carolina universities are all too familiar with.

Whether it be moving Appalachian State’s on-campus early-voting site when it repeatedly represented the highest turnout of voters. Or NC A&T University being divided between two Congressional Districts before having their voting site removed.

MAGA-republicanism knows they cannot win a fair fight. Thats why they intimidate, lie, and strip rights and access away to game the system.

Today SpaceX goes public and with it Elon Musk takes more public dollars and becomes the world’s first trillionaire.

The most damning parts of it all is that Musk has used the taxpayer-subsidized wealth to avoid paying taxes, to gain unprecedented access to our government and gut programs that will cost thousands of lives and billions in economic damage, and safe-guards in place to protect investors and retirement funds from over-inflated, bubble-riding companies like SpaceX have been skipped over and outright eliminated.

Trillionaires should not exist in a world where medications and healthcare are determined by arbitrary flowcharts tied to profit-loss statements.

Tax egregious wealth out of existence. The world will be a better place.

21 months ago Hurricane Helene inflicted an estimated $60 billion in damages across Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Hundreds of homes and businesses lost. American lives lost and others turned upside down.

Pat Harrigan and MAGA celebrate two things today:

- $297 million for our mountain neighbors to rebuild their lives that NC Attorney General Jeff Jackson had to sue for because MAGA blocked it.

- $70 billion for ICE/CBP (pushing total funding past $200 billion since January 2025)

Our priorities under MAGA and the perverted lack of leadership exhibited by enablers like Pat Harrigan is decimating our nation.

Hopefully the 10th District will have an opportunity to elect someone with integrity one day.

As Pat Harrigan and MAGA war profiteers in Congress push a merger of US and Israeli military technology development and production, Israel under the criminal direction of Benjamin Netanyahu double down on their war crimes.

North Carolina is better off with her divisive, hate-filled presence no longer representing Surry and Wilkes County in the General Assembly.

Sarah Stevens doesn’t possess the ability to be impartial or the qualifications that should be expected of a member of the judiciary, much less the North Carolina Supreme Court.

The North Carolina Republican Party has no interest in a judiciary that serves the people of North Carolina.

Elect Anita Earls, for fairness, justice, and the rule of law.
