From the very first time I heard Angie speak at the Orange County Democrats meeting on January 21, 2026, I knew there was something special about her. It wasn't just the words she spoke—it was the passion, authenticity, conviction, and genuine love for people that came through in every word. From that night forward, I've had the opportunity to watch Angie fight, lead, organize, and stand up for people who don't always have a voice in the rooms where decisions are made.
What I admire most about Angie isn't simply what she has accomplished—it's who she is while accomplishing it. She has spent years building grassroots political power, serving her community, and fighting for working families, public education, affordable housing, healthcare, immigrants, and those who too often get overlooked. She has never been afraid to stand up, speak out, or take a difficult position when she believes it is the right thing to do.
But beyond the politics, Angie is simply Angie—genuine, passionate, energetic, compassionate, and someone who makes you believe that politics can still be about people.
Since that first night in January, I've watched her continue to prove why she is so special. Her journey is a reminder that grassroots politics still matters, that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things, and that courage and perseverance can change the course of a community—and perhaps an entire state.
Angie isn't just someone I support politically. She's someone I genuinely admire, someone who inspired me from the moment I heard her speak, and someone I'm proud to call a friend.
So yes, I'll say it again:
