We encourage the public to share thoughts as they relate to the topic being discussed. We welcome your comments, but w

e expect comments generally to be courteous, follow our rules of decorum, and be related to the posting being discussed. To that end, we have established the following policy and we reserve the discretion to hide/remove comments that:
contain obscene, indecent, or profane language; contain threats or defamatory statements; are bullying, intimidating, or harassing any user; contain personal attacks; contain hate speech; promote or endorse services or products; suggest or encourage illegal activity; are multiple, repetitive off-topic posts by a single user (spam); are not topically related to the particular posting; or violate a legal ownership interest of any other party. The rules of decorum are in place to encourage civil discourse and to prevent a poster from disrupting dialog in a way that prevents or impedes the accomplishment of the purpose of any of our social media sites including Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. -The Downtown Library lockers will still be available, the book drop will be closed, however.

The Winter Haven Recreation & Cultural Center Branch Library is now open to the public! Located at 801 MLK Blvd., this neighborhood branch is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Browse a curated collection of books for all ages, check out laptops for in-library use, and faxing and printing services will be available soon.

Did you know, you're more likely to be killed by a cow than a shark? Join Corinne and Francesca on First Friday for another round of Story Time: After Hours as they explore the wild world of animals you are in danger of. It's the last show before summer break so come get weird while you can!
