Summer reading #5:

The Bureau of Fire Standards and Training operates the Florida State Fire College, located in Ocala, FL. The current 37-acre campus is a multi-discipline fire and emergency services training center. The GFWC Florida wide “President’s Project” for May ‘26-May ‘27 is to support fundraising for tuition, gear, and housing.
More about this to come…

Summer Reading #4:
The Woman’s Club of Winter Haven isn’t just history—it is where Winter Haven’s history is preserved today. More than a century after clubwomen built a civic legacy of libraries, beautification, and community service, their historic clubhouse remains a living center for preserving our city’s story. It is also the home of the Museum of Winter Haven History, where volunteers continue the clubwomen’s mission of preserving the community’s heritage. Many memories began there, with more to follow.
