A broken line will be repaired this afternoon. All patio homes and Hawaiian will have service disrupted for a short time. A boil water alert is in effect until further notice.

The water line has been repaired and service disruption was isolated to the Dogwood and Holly buildings. These customers are issued a boil water alert until further notice. All other customers may use their tap water without boiling.

A water line has been broken at Orchid Springs. Water service may be interrupted for most of the area while repairs are done. A boil water notice will be in effect until further notice.

***Update 07/07/2026***The boil water notice for Island Way homes has been lifted. You may now use your tap water for consumption. Remember to dump your ice from any ice makers for the next 24 hours.

***Update 07/01/2026****. Work on the Island away leak will begin this morning. A boil water notice will be issued once work is complete.***

***Update***. Work has not been started. Waiting for other utility line location before starting the work. You may continue to use tap water for consumption.

A broken water line on Island Way will be repaired Monday. Service should only be disconnected on Island Way but we will update the rest of the community as needed. This action will require a boil water notice for all affected customers. Water service should only be disrupted for an hour or two.

A boil water notice requires that all affected customers bring tap water to a roiling boil for at least one minute allowing it to cool before consuming. You should dump any ice in your icemaker on Monday morning and dump all ice made for 24 hours after the boil water notice is lifted.

The notification (shown attached) from Central States Water Resources was mailed out to all current customers of Orchid Springs Water earlier this month. IT IS NOT AN INVOICE but a notification that rates will not increase unless or until CSWR petitions the Florida Public Service Commission for an increase in rates. The $15.00 Premises Visit was just a restatement of the current fee which is part of the Orchid Springs Water rate tariff.

The boil water advisory for the patio homes and the Hawaiian condo has been lifted. You may now use your tap water for consumption without boiling.

A line break in the patio homes will be repaired today. Water may be off during this time and will affect the patio homes and the Hawaiian. A boil water notice is still in effect.

An emergency repair is being made in the patio home section. All patio homes and the Hawaiian will be under a boil water advisory until further notice.
