The Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida is proud to partner with the SMILE with Stella Tremonti Down Syndrome Clinic to support local families and expand access to specialized resources designed for individuals with Down syndrome.

Through this collaboration, DSACF recently provided key funding for a dedicated Toothbrushing Lab, an innovative, hands-on space designed to help individuals build practical dental hygiene skills and increase tolerance for daily oral care.

By targeting preventive care and skill-building, this initiative supported important areas of health and well-being including health literacy, access to specialized care, and daily functional independence that significantly impact long-term wellness. Because dental hygiene presents unique challenges for many in our community, investing in these foundational health drivers transforms an everyday task into a stepping stone toward total well-being, personal autonomy, and dignity.

Together, we are empowering our community with new skills, greater confidence, and healthier smiles!
