IT FLOWED OVER THE LAND LIKE A RIVER AND COVERED THE HIGHWAY WHICH RAN THE LENGTH OF THE LITTLE VALLEY. IT COVERED THE OLD TOWNSITE. ALL LANDMARKS DISAPPEARED. NO DUST NOW, NO SMOKE, NO HUM OF INSECTS, NO SMELL OF TARWEED, ONLY STILLNESS AND THE WATER RISING AND RISING.

Native Sons of the Golden West rededicating the town of Monticello at the Monticello cemetery today. They had a plaque remade that went missing when the removal of the resorts took place. Also the Old Timers and descendants of the town of Monticello get together today.
