EOCC is seeking a full time Resident Support Specialist (RSS) to provide operational and security oversight for a community based correctional program. Applicants must have a positive attitude and willingness to teach offenders how to make pro social decisions. You must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Successful candidates will provide supervision to offenders working in the kitchen for a community based correctional program. Applicants must have a positive attitude and willingness to teach offenders how to make prosocial decisions. You must be able to pass a background check, drug screen. Work a 5:30am to 1:30pm shift or 9:30am to 5:30pm including weekends and holidays. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cook is preferred but not required. The Eastern Ohio Correction Center is seeking applicants for a part time cook for our Wintersville facility. Minimum 2 years experience as a cook is preferred but not required. The primary responsibility of the Cook position is to prepare and serve meals according to pre-planned menus and ensuring all equipment, utensils and surrounding areas are kept clean. Successful candidates will provide supervision to offenders working in the kitchen. Applicant must have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the willingness to help offenders make Positive Choices. Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and working rotating shifts including holidays and weekends.
