Greetings Cardinal Families,
This is Y. Williams with your weekly updates for the week of June 1st.
We had a busy, productive, and successful week! Our 3rd through 5th grade students completed their Reading and Math EOGs, and we are extremely proud of their hard work, growth, and perseverance. Thank you for ensuring that students arrived at school on time each day and were prepared to do their best.
This week, our 5th grade students will take the Science EOG on Tuesday, June 2nd. We will also administer make-up tests for students that were absent and retests for students who may not have demonstrated mastery yet. Please continue to ensure that students arrive at school on time, are well-rested, and eat breakfast either at home or at school. Encourage them to persevere, never give up, and put forth their best effort. Students have been reviewing diligently, now let's finish strong!
As we approach the end of the school year, please remind students to continue following the Cardinal Rules by being respectful, responsible, and prepared learners. It is imperative that all students use appropriate language and keep their hands to themselves.
Thank you for reminding Cardinals to return overdue library books. Currently, 235 books remain overdue, and we want to ensure that we maintain our library collection for future readers. Lost or damaged books may be paid for through School Cash Online.

Reminders
• Pajamas and crop tops are not permitted. Students will be required to change if these items are worn to school.
• Cell phones are prohibited during the school day and must remain out of sight at all times. If a phone is visible, it will be confiscated, and a parent/guardian must retrieve it from the front office.
• Please help us maintain safety during morning drop-off. Do not pass other vehicles, as this creates a safety hazard and puts students at risk. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Feel free to use the overflow parking area if needed.

Les habla Y. Williams con las actualizaciones semanales para la semana del 1 de junio.
¡Tuvimos una semana ocupada, productiva y exitosa! Nuestros estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado completaron sus exámenes EOG de Lectura y Matemáticas, y estamos extremadamente orgullosos de su esfuerzo, crecimiento y perseverancia. Gracias por asegurarse de que los estudiantes llegaran a la escuela a tiempo cada día y estuvieran preparados para dar lo mejor de sí.
Esta semana, nuestros estudiantes de 5.º grado tomarán el examen EOG de Ciencias el martes 2 de junio. También administraremos exámenes de recuperación para los estudiantes que estuvieron ausentes y nuevas oportunidades de evaluación para aquellos que aún no hayan demostrado dominio. Por favor, continúen asegurándose de que los estudiantes lleguen a tiempo a la escuela, descansen bien y desayunen en casa o en la escuela. Anímenlos a perseverar, nunca rendirse y dar siempre su mejor esfuerzo. Los estudiantes han estado repasando diligentemente. ¡Ahora terminemos el año con fuerza!
A medida que nos acercamos al final del año escolar, por favor recuerden a los estudiantes que continúen siguiendo las Reglas Cardinal siendo respetuosos, responsables y aprendices preparados. Recordatorios
• No se permiten pijamas ni blusas cortas (crop tops). Los estudiantes deberán cambiarse si usan estas prendas en la escuela.
• Los teléfonos celulares están prohibidos durante el día escolar y deben permanecer fuera de vista en todo momento. Si un teléfono está visible, será confiscado y un padre o tutor deberá recogerlo en la oficina principal.
• Ayúdenos a mantener la seguridad durante la llegada por la mañana. No pase otros vehículos, ya que esto representa un peligro para los estudiantes. Gracias por su paciencia y cooperación. Puede utilizar el área de estacionamiento adicional si es necesario.

لقد كان لدينا أسبوع حافل ومثمر وناجح! أكمل طلاب الصفوف الثالث والرابع والخامس اختبارات نهاية العام في القراءة والرياضيات، ونحن فخورون للغاية بجهودهم ونموهم ومثابرتهم. شكرًا لكم على ضمان حضور الطلاب إلى المدرسة في الوقت المحدد كل يوم واستعدادهم لبذل أفضل ما لديهم.
هذا الأسبوع، سيخوض طلاب الصف الخامس اختبار نهاية العام في العلوم يوم الثلاثاء 2 يونيو. كما سنقوم بإعطاء اختبارات تعويضية للطلاب الذين كانوا غائبين وإعادة الاختبار للطلاب الذين لم يحققوا مستوى الإتقان بعد. يرجى الاستمرار في التأكد من وصول الطلاب إلى المدرسة في الوقت المحدد، وحصولهم على قسط كافٍ من الراحة، وتناولهم وجبة الإفطار في المنزل أو المدرسة. شجعوهم على المثابرة وعدم الاستسلام وبذل أفضل ما لديهم. لقد اجتهد الطلاب في المراجعة، والآن لنُنْهِ العام بقوة!
مع اقتراب نهاية العام الدراسي، يرجى تذكير الطلاب بالاستمرار في اتباع قواعد الكاردينال من خلال التحلي بالاحترام والمسؤولية والاستعداد للتعلم. من الضروري أن يستخدم جميع الطلاب لغة مناسبة وأن يحافظوا على أيديهم لأنفسهم.
