📚 New Book Tuesday!

This week the new books are taking a look at family.

⭐Disarmingly funny and quietly wise, A Guide to Open Water Life Saving (Eubanks), is the story of how one woman tried to rescue her beloved and learned she would also have to rescue herself, reminding us: no one survives the wilderness alone.
⭐In A Tender Age (Lee), at home, Jeon-Gi’s working-class parents dote on him, but outside, he is part of a roving pack of kids with dominion over a derelict baseball field, where getting into and out of trouble is all-consuming; however, he becomes embroiled in events reverberating far beyond himself and his family.

📚 Storytime & Summer Library Program Update

Due to unexpected staffing shortages, we unfortunately need to cancel Storytime and today's Summer Library Program kids' activity.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work through these staffing challenges. We know many families look forward to Fridays at the library and we're disappointed to miss spending time with you today.

Thank you for your patience and continued support of the Winthrop Library. We look forward to seeing everyone back next week for our last Summer Library Program storytime and activity!

🎉 Congratulations to our Coloring Contest Winners: Mabel & Siska! 🎉

Thank you to every young artist who participated in our "250 Years of America: Through the Eyes of Our Community" coloring contest! We were amazed by the creativity, imagination, and heart that went into every single entry. This week, we have new books about people and their stories!
