Thank you to all that supported me during my campaign and congratulations to John Munson for winning the election.

I am certainly disappointed in the results but I am grateful for all the great conversations about Winthrop I got to have with a lot of you. I am happy to know many more of the residents in Precinct 2 than I did before.

I hope John will stand up for our town as we address the upcoming MassPort and MWRA Mitigation Agreements, the implementation of the MBTA Conmunity Housing Bill, and the development of the old Middle School.

I moved to Winthrop 12 years ago with my wife and we are raising three children ages 5, 7 and 9. I have also recently moved my law practice to French Square.

Thank you to the Winthrop Teachers Association for hosting last night’s Candidate Forum. It was great hearing all the candidates share their views on education. As a Councilor, I will prioritize our children's educations.
