What an incredible day celebrating 60 years of Central Wisconsin Community Action Council, Inc. at Bowman Park in Wisconsin Dells!
Despite the chilly and windy weather, the rain held off and our community came together to make this milestone celebration truly meaningful. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, performed, donated, and helped make the day such a success.

A heartfelt thank you to our event organizers, volunteers, vendors, community partners, and local businesses for your time, generosity, and dedication. Your support reflects the true spirit of Community Action and the strength of our communities working together.
Special thanks to the Wisconsin Dells Middle & High School Jazz Ensemble, Wisconsin Dells Scout Dells Troop 66, The Swing Crew, Michelle Duvall and Doug Brown Music for sharing your talents, Tom Behnke and Dan Bradley photography for helping create such a memorable atmosphere throughout the celebration.

We also extend our appreciation to City Administrator Karen Terry and Wisconsin State Senator Sarah Keyeski for joining us in recognizing this important milestone and celebrating the impact Community Action programs continue to have across our communities.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. This anniversary was not only a reflection on the past 60 years of service, resilience, and adaptability, but also a celebration of the unwavering spirit that continues to guide Community Action forward.

We are honored to serve our communities and grateful to stand alongside so many caring and dedicated individuals and organizations. Here’s to continuing the mission together for many years to come!

For many people, getting to work is something they don’t have to think twice about. But for some in our community, one flat tire, dead battery, empty gas tank, or missed repair can mean losing a job — and with it, stability for themselves and their family.

The Wheels 2 Work Program helps individuals and families overcome transportation barriers so they can keep getting to work, providing for their children, attending appointments, and moving forward in life. Reliable transportation isn’t a luxury — it’s often the difference between staying afloat and falling behind.
