Happy Friday, friends and fellow Rotarians! 💙

Yesterday evening, we had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Wisconsin Dells High School Forest & Story Book Walk as it is now completed (as well as to meet Chip the goat 🐐).

The Story Book Walk follows a beautiful trail near the school barn, where visitors can enjoy a book one page at a time at each stop along the path. The current display focuses on learning how to grow a variety of fruits, vegetables, and plants—including some that can be grown in decorative planters.

Our Rotary Club 6250 was proud to help purchase the materials needed to bring this project to life, including Little Free Library posts, display boards, benches, and necessary hardware. Nathaniel and Alexis Nolden worked closely with the school to coordinate the project and keep everything on track. Students and Rotarians worked together to mount the display boards along the trail, while students helped transport materials to each location. Rotarians later returned to help complete the installation, and finally, the Noldens placed the prepared book pages into the display boards for everyone to enjoy.

Projects like this are possible because of the strong partnerships we share with our community. By working together, we can provide students, teachers, and families with a relaxing outdoor space where they can learn, explore nature, and enjoy a good book. What a beautiful use of space and a wonderful educational opportunity for the students!

Hello everyone!

We want to cordially invite you to join us for the Grand Opening of the Storybook Walk at the Wisconsin Dells High School School Forest! We will be meeting on the map where the neon yellow meets the neon pink. This location is near the school barn. We will hike one quarter of a mile along the cross country trail, enjoying stories along the way! 📚

If you would like to join us to support the students, faculty and school who put this project together- it would be incredible! This event will take place Thursday, June 4th at 5:15pm. Please, come join us for a wonderful evening.

Project CLEAN – Wisconsin Dells Community Cleanup 🌎

It’s that time of year again! Our Dells community is coming together to clean up local ditches, and we’d love your help.

With Earth Day tomorrow, it’s the perfect opportunity to get outside and make a difference 🌱

From now through May 2, take some time to pick up litter near your home—just grab a garbage bag and enjoy a walk on a nice day. Once your bag is full, leave it on the shoulder and let us know where you cleaned so we can pick it up.

This weekend, our club members came together at TriCon—a conference uniting Districts 6220, 6250, and 6270. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Rotarians from across Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula through workshops, inspiring speakers, and networking opportunities.

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible sponsors who helped make our “A Day in the Dells” basket such a success at the TriCon Polio Plus Silent Auction! 💛

We are especially grateful to Kalahari Resorts & Conventions for hosting such an amazing event, and to our wonderful community for continually supporting the Wisconsin Dells Rotary Club. It was truly special to come together with so many clubs for a weekend dedicated to service and impact.💙

Hello everyone!

Today we held our first meeting of the month, where we had the opportunity to hear from our wonderful President-Elect, Greg Herker. Greg shared insights from PETS (President Elect Training Seminar), where he learned valuable information and gathered ideas to help take our club to the next level in the year ahead.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, dedication, and service Greg has already shown since recently joining our club. His enthusiasm for Rotary and our community is inspiring, and we’re excited to see him begin his leadership journey with us.

The Wisconsin Dells Rotary Club was honored to partner with Nikki & Andy Lohr, owners of Courtyard Cafe, to present the funds raised from their first Soup Dinner held on February 9, 2026. The event was organized to benefit the School District of Wisconsin Dells lunch program.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, $7,580.42 was raised in a single evening. Rotary was also proud to match up to $1,000, increasing the overall impact of this meaningful initiative.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make this event such a success. Your generosity continues to make a lasting difference for local families and students.

We are truly fortunate to be part of such a supportive and compassionate community.
