A great Opportunity to attend free training around lithium-ion battery fire safety in Slinger, WI on December 12.

Fire Suppression Solutions would like to pass along a great training opportunity coming up in Slinger, Wisconsin, on December 12.

Retired Las Vegas Fire Captain Richard Birt will share his 33 years of fire service experience during a six-hour training on lithium-ion battery fire safety, including often-overlooked hazards like chemical exposure, heavy metal contamination, and risks that remain after the flames are out.

This information matters well beyond the fire service. Understanding these hazards can help us better prepare for emergencies, protect those around us, and prevent contamination from spreading beyond the initial incident.

The training is offered at no cost, but the potentially lifesaving knowledge is priceless.

We encourage first responders, businesses, industry professionals, and community members to take advantage of this opportunity.

Important training for the next generation, you never know when you will need these lifesaving skills. Thank you, Assistant Chief Kaminski, from the Stockton Fire & EMS Department - Wisconsin for spending the time with the students!
