Book Bag Embroidery

Register for this Studio class and learn how to use our embroidery machine as you make your own book bag! This is a two person class being offered every hour throughout the day.

Please only sign up for ONE session and waitlist. Duplicate registrations will be removed.

Space is limited for this class. * If the class is full you will be placed on a waitlist. Only those who are registered will have a seat reserved in the class.

McMillan Concert Series - Mason Her, Qeej Demo

Mason Lospeej Her will demonstrate the qeej (pronounced "gheng"), a traditional Hmong woodwind instrument. Rather than using Western musical notation, the music of the qeej mimics the Hmong language. Come hear this unique instrument and learn from Mason the place that it has in Hmong culture.

McMillan Concert Series - Art Stevenson & High Water

ART STEVENSON & HIGH WATER have been keeping traditional bluegrass music alive in Wisconsin and surrounding states since 1993. Since then, they have released seven CD recordings of well-chosen songs and original compositions, all of which received praise from reviews in the media, and frequent air play by radio music show hosts around the country. The band's mission is to preserve the hard-driving traditional bluegrass sound, while including material from other musical styles. In 2021 High Water emerged from the pandemic with a new mission, and for the first time since 2001, a new member!
