The Rapids Brass Quintet in Concert
July 2nd
7-8 pm

Join the Rapids Brass Quintet for an evening celebrating America's 250th birthday! With something familiar for everyone, this is a great family-friendly concert performed by local musicians.

The Rapids Brass Quintet was founded in the Spring of 2024. The members of the group are Betsy Heimlich and Trea Kimball on trumpet, Matthew O'Connor on Horn, Savanna Dahl on Trombone and David Vandermeuse on Tuba. All members of the group are active in other ensembles such as the Wisconsin Rapids City Band, the Grenadiers of Stevens Point, the Stevens Point City Band, River Cities Jazz Band, and various other church and community groups. With a library of over 300 songs to choose from, the group enjoys playing all different genres and styles of familiar tunes, much the same as the Canadian Brass and the Dallas Brass perform.
