Grant Elementary 4th graders ventured over to Lake Wazeecha this week for a day of fishing fun! 🎣

Students tested their fishing skills and had a little luck catching some fish… and a few branches along the way! Most importantly, they caught plenty of laughs and made some great memories together. What a wonderful day outdoors for our Grizzlies! 🐻

📣 Scholarship Recipients Reminder 📣

Please accept or decline your scholarship award by Friday, June 5. Awards not accepted by this date will cause a delay in processing or may ultimately be rescinded.

Before June 5, be sure to update your email address in the ISTS scholarship portal to a personal email account if you have not already done so. Please do not use a school email address, as it may be deleted after graduation.

All award requirements and deadlines must be completed before scholarship payments can be processed.

The Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services recognized several outstanding Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools staff members for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving our students and families.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our WRPS Speech and Language Pathologists for their extraordinary dedication, resilience, and collaboration: Amy Fisher, Colleen Sazama, Marissa Grubba, Alexandra Tomlin-Dodd, Alyssa Haas, Callie Kramer, Crystal Mocadlo, Kathryn Kester, Kayla Schmidt, Karlyn Oleson-Hall, and Maike Zipp.

Additional individual recognitions included:
⭐ Colleen Sazama – Outstanding Related Service Provider for her innovative support of students, mentorship of colleagues, and dedication to helping students find their voice through communication.

⭐ Rita Mitchelle – Outstanding Paraprofessional for her heartfelt commitment to the students she serves

Mead School was excited to welcome back the LHS Class of 2026 graduates who once walked our halls as students! 🎓 Our 5th graders walked the hallways with them while everyone cheered them on during a special senior walk celebration. Afterward, the seniors spent time answering questions, sharing advice, and encouraging our future graduates.
