The Wisner Volunteer Fire & Rescue Dept. took part in the softball tournament during Beemer Play Days last night. Three of the four departments participated. West Point Department came in first, Beemer came in second and Wisner got third. We all had a great time and I am sure there are some sore bodies this morning!!

Hard at work setting up fireworks for tonights show!!🎆🎇

In celebration of Americas 250th birthday, we will be having a venue change. This years fireworks will be in the back of the park instead of our 2 previous locations in the front of the park. The new location is to the south of the city dump and to the east of the tractor pull track.

This change was made because we've increased the show for the big celebration, if all goes well this will be the new home for the fireworks each year.

Please feel free to use any of the seating at the tractor pull if you'd like, otherwise park anywhere to the west of the red line as seen in the below image.

Mark your calendars, July 3rd at dusk(July 4th at dusk for rain date), hope to see everyone there!

Wisner Volunteer Fire and Rescue would like to thank everyone for the great turn out for our Easter Egg hunt today. Special thanks to the CHIC’s organization, the Fire Auxiliary, Wisner Apothecary, Dairy Keen and Lori Andersen for the additional gifts given away. If we missed anyone thank you as well!
