Goldenrod Regional Housing Agency is a non profit corporation created by cities, villages, and counties for the purpose of addressing housing concerns and needs in their jurisdictions. The program was designed to enable very low income families to live in safe, decent, affordable housing. Individuals and families are determined eligible for the program if their total annual gross income meets fede

ral income guidelines, and if they live within the Housing Agency’s jurisdiction. Goldenrod Regional Housing Agency has a Board of Commissioners comprised of county and city officials representing the areas we serve. In addition to rental assistance, we have a Family Self Sufficiency Program to assist families in reaching goals to become independent of assistance, as well as a Homeownership Program to assist families in the process of owning a home for long-term stability. Goldenrod Regional Housing Agency also manages 2 USDA Apartment Complexes: Woodland Circle Apartments in Wisner, NE with 14 - 1 bedroom units and 1 - 2 bedroom unit; Maplewood Apartments in Pilger, NE with 4 - 1 bedroom units.
