This powerful vision is at the heart of an exciting initiative led by Macedon Library Director Stacey Greene Wicksall, focusing on expanding the truly remarkable Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

The Imagination Library is a globally acclaimed program that champions early childhood literacy by mailing a brand-new, age-appropriate book directly to registered children's homes each month, from birth until their fifth birthday – entirely free of charge to families. This consistent exposure to books fosters critical pre-reading skills, significantly enhances school readiness, and strengthens family bonds through shared story times.

Stacey Greene Wicksall is passionately committed to broadening the reach of this life-changing program to encompass every corner of Wayne County, ensuring no child misses out on this invaluable opportunity. To achieve this crucial county-wide expansion and bring the magic of reading to hundreds more young learners, we are seeking to raise a specific and modest amount of just $1,316.
