πŸ’πŸ¦† Wildlife is on the move around the pond at the Pop Whalen Ice & Arts Center & Abenaki Ski Area!

As you drive into our facility and through our parking lot, please keep an eye out for turtles, ducks, ducklings, and other wildlife that may be crossing the road. Our pond is home to lots of animals this time of year, and they don’t always move quickly!

We kindly ask everyone to drive slow, stay alert, and help us keep our wildlife safe.

Thank you for doing your part to protect the animals that call our facility home! πŸ’š

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Senior Health & Fitness Fair this week at Pop Whalen! ❀️

We would especially like to extend a huge thank you to all of the vendors, organizations, and community partners who took the time to attend and share valuable resources, information, and services with our senior community. Your willingness to support and connect with attendees helped make the event meaningful and informative for all who stopped by.

We are grateful for the conversations, connections, and community spirit that filled the day, and we appreciate everyone who helped make the event possible. While turnout may have been smaller than anticipated, we know the impact and support offered to those who attended was truly valuable.

Thank you again to all who participated and continue to support our senior programming and community wellness initiatives! πŸ’™

😴 Blueprint for Bedtime – Wellness Session at Abenaki Lodge 😴

Join us at the Abenaki Lodge for an informative and helpful wellness session presented by Granite VNA Community Health Educator Brooke Noonan. Sleep plays a vital role in both our physical and emotional well-being, yet many people struggle to get the quality rest they need.

During this session, participants will learn how much sleep we really need, tips for improving sleep quality, and helpful strategies for talking with healthcare providers about sleep concerns or difficulties. Small changes to your nightly routine can make a big difference in how you feel each day.

Come learn, ask questions, and discover ways to support better sleep and overall wellness in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful and informative program!

Pre-registration is required. Reserve your spot by registering on RecDesk at wolfeboro.recdesk.com/community/program or by calling 603-569-5639.
