Officers Aaron W**d and Mark Greco graduate from the 200th NH Police Academy on Friday, August 22.

On behalf of the men and women of the Wolfeboro Police Department and the Wolfeboro Police Commission, it is my honor to announce the graduation or Officers W**d and Greco from the NH Police Academy. Officer Greco, who received the Jeremy Charron Award was also selected by his classmates to give the traditional class expression to a well-attended event at the NH Police Academy on Friday. Fifty-nine police officers graduated in total.

The Jeremy Charron Award, is named for former U.S. Marine Jeremy Charron, who as an Epsom, NH police officer, was shot and killed in the line of duty on August 24, 1997. Nearly 28 years to the day after that tragic event, Officer Greco was honored with this presentation by the American Legion Post. The award is presented to a graduate who has been honorably discharged from the US military, who, while a police academy recruit, uses that training to assist his/her fellow recruits.
