💜 Light It Up Purple – National Donate Life Month 💜

This April, the Wonder Lake Fire Protection District is honored to support Gift of Hope’s “Light It Up Purple” campaign in recognition of National Donate Life Month.
Throughout the month, our fire stations will glow purple to honor organ and tissue donors, celebrate the lives they’ve saved, and raise awareness about the life‑changing impact of donor registration.

More than 100,000 people nationwide are currently waiting for a life‑saving transplant, and the need for donors has never been greater. You can help by wearing purple this month and considering registering as an organ and tissue donor.

💜A special thank you to Traci Stevens for bringing this meaningful program to fire stations across McHenry County. Together, we can help shine a light on hope. 💜
