SRTA day 1 May 7-9 class. A great group of students are dialing in their abilities in the North woods. The class refreshed on their rope systems, in-water techniques, and rescue decision making. They are doing great, the bar gets raised tomorrow. Stay tuned!

SRTA day 3, May 4-6 class. Finished the class with a true challenge. Paddling and reading the river is essential for Swift water technicians. Had some carnage on the trip.

SRTA day 2, May 4-6 class moves to night operations. Emergencies occur at night and students are faced with challenges of limited visibility. In water rescues, victim searches and setting up rope systems to traverse steep banks.

SRTA Day 2 May 4-6 class, technicians from Seneca FD, Lisle Woodridge FD, Elgin FD, and Bettendorf Iowa Fd perform basic moving up to more advanced skills in the beautiful North woods of Wisconsin.

SRTA day 1 May 4-6, Athelstane, Wisconsin. Classroom, dry land skills then hit the water. Students refresh their in water skills with entries and eddy hops. Tension diagonal and Crossline reach device. Finishing the day with a couple of scenarios.

Yorkville, IL
8am - 5pm all three days
Water site will be the Marge Cline Whitewater Park on the Fox River in Yorkville, IL
Cost: $400 new students/ $300 recerts.
