Summer has arrived! Sign up your child (through age 12) for our Summer Reading Program and start logging reading hours to earn prizes. Plus, during July, we’ll be having performers/programs every Tuesday from 1-2 pm, and Art with Alicia and Peter every Thursday from 10 am-12 pm! Adults and teens don’t worry - we have a separate weekly prize drawing for you.😉 Every time you finish a book simply fill out a form at the desk with your name, phone number and the title of the book to enter. Wow!!! We had a whopping 62 members of our Free Mind Academy Homeschool Group meet at the Original Wisconsin Ducks in the Dells yesterday for an end-of-the-school-year field trip. We filled three full Ducks and traveled by land and sea (river and lake, lol) to take in sights of the gorges, cliffs and even an unfazed deer! Despite the chilly weather (with 80s expected next week!) it was an awesome way to kick off summer! Summer Reading starts June 1 so stop in the library to sign up and learn about all the performers, art classes and Concerts on the Library Lawn planned for Summer 2026!🌞📚🎨🖌️🎶😎

We are thrilled to announce the Summer 2026 lineup for the Friends of the Wonewoc Library Concerts on the Library Lawn! We have a packed schedule featuring perennial favorites and new artists running Monday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm. As always, concerts will be moved to the Wonewoc Legion Hall in the case of bad weather. We can’t wait to see you all on the lawn!😎🎤🎸🥁🎻🎵

A huge thank you to Abby Heckman from the ADRC for a heartbreaking but eye-opening Dementia Live experience in our Community Room. Our participants learned firsthand how dementia distorts our senses and cognitive abilities, including auditory, visual and tactile abilities. They also gained enhanced empathy and understanding for what friends and relatives who have dementia might be enduring.
