We extend our sincere gratitude to Anheuser-Busch for their generous donation of a pallet (2352 cans) of drinking water. This water is extremely crucial in maintaining the safety and hydration of firefighters from our district as well as our mutual aid partners at scenes. Thanks again to Anheuser-Busch and National Volunteer Fire Council!

Don’t forget to come see us at Waterfest! Friday is from 4pm-9pm and Saturday is from 10am-9pm! Our booth will be on the corner of Broadway and N. Main St. (between The Atlas Saloon and New Age Skincare Spa). We are bringing back our dunk tank (3 throws for $5 or a guaranteed dunk for $10), a 50/50 raffle & we will have WHFPD shirts for sale ($10 each). We are set up to take cash or card (tap to pay only).

It’s official! We are bringing the dunk tank back to Waterfest! We will also have a 50/50 raffle (winner gets half of the money from ticket sales) and WHFPD shirts (different from what is depicted in the AI flyer 😂) available for sale!

Different time. Same feeling.
They stood where you stand.

Same look in their eyes. Same feeling in their chest. Same quiet understanding of what was about to be asked of them.

They didn’t have what you have. You don’t have what they had. But when it matters, none of that changes anything. You still step forward just as they did. You still carry it. You still go.

A couple hundred years apart… and nothing changed.

This is the heart of a volunteer.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us today for our Easter event! We always look forward to this event every year. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our Waterfest booth in June!

Also big thanks to our Auxiliary for the countless hours they put in to make these events happen for our community and to the City of Wood Heights for helping out as well!
