Due to the potential for icy conditions later today, ALL Wood-Ridge Schools will operate on an early dismissal for today, Friday, February 4th.

Doyle and WRIS will dismiss at 12:28pm. The HS will dismiss at 12:13pm. No lunches will be served. All after-care and after school activities are canceled.

Notice on High School Graduation – Issued on Wednesday, July 23, 2020 at 4pm

The latest weather radar tracking shows the potential of severe rain in our area between 7pm and
9pm tonight.

Therefore, Graduation will be 6pm, weather permitting. The gates will open at 5:30pm.

Students must report outside the gym on Windsor Road by 5:45pm.

Please remember that Graduation Tickets must be presented for admission at the gate by all guests (Not Graduates) attending graduation.

Notice on High School Graduation – Issued on Wednesday, July 23, 2020 at 1pm

Similar to yesterday, weather forecasts are showing a very unsettled and unpredictable weather pattern from 5pm this afternoon through tonight. Scattered and roving storms will definitely be in the area but satellite predictions are rapidly changing minute by minute.

We want to make every effort possible to have the graduation today, so please bear with us as we monitor the weather radar tracking.

We will issue an update at 4pm today.

Notice on High School Graduation – Issued on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 6pm

Due to the latest weather radar tracking showing the likelihood of severe rain, including lightning strikes, in our area between 7pm and 10pm, today’s Graduation is being postponed to tomorrow evening, Thursday, July 23rd. This decision is being made in the interest of public safety.

Rainstorms are predicted for tomorrow, although less severe than those predicted for later this evening. Therefore, an update notice will be issued tomorrow afternoon setting the time for Graduation. Please be prepared for any time between 6pm and 9pm.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in dealing with circumstances that are out of our control.
