Jeff: this has nothing to do with a comeback, but rather to do what I can to help change politics as usual and support those that share my view that establishment politics is a cancer on our political system.

It's unfortunate that this story rehashes old rumors, like "low fundraising numbers" during my chairmanship. Facts: I inherited $160k of debt & 5 mos later had RPV running $350k in the black, raising >$4 mil.

Former Virginia Republican Party Chairman Jeffrey M. Frederick is re-entering politics as an anti-establishment conservative two years after he was ousted by his GOP colleagues.

Americans and Virginians -- young and old, Republican, and yes even Democratic -- have had it with establishment politicians who are more interested in power without purpose than in strengthening our communities, Commonwealth, and country.

We will be working throughout 2011 to elect, not a partisan 'Republican' majority to the General Assembly, but a conservative majority that understands it exists to serve the people and not to control the people.
