Freedom High School is a diverse school community of 2,187 students, is located in Woodbridge, Virginia, with a positive and invigorating culture where everyone believes that all Eagles can soar! We host four specialty and career and technical education programs: Center for Environmental and Natural Sciences, M
edical Coding and Billing, Pharmacy Technician, and Pre-Governor's School. Freedom also offers dual enrollment classes through Northern Virginia Community College and Shenandoah University, gifted education classes, nearly two dozen Advanced Placement courses, an Air Force JROTC program, English learner classes, and a unique partnership with Northern Virginia Community College called Collegiate High School. Freedom High School held its dedication ceremony on September 11, 2004. On that date, the school also dedicated its memorial to the victims of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, from Prince William County. As a permanent part of the high school, there is a 62-foot diameter sundial dedicated to these heroes. The names of the Prince William County victims are inscribed on the bricks around the sundial. Four brass plates are placed on the face of the dial to mark the times when the four airplanes struck the North and South Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the field in Pennsylvania.
