International Yoga Day: Yoga is the union of the mind and body. This union is acheieved through the breath, or Prana. As we invogorate our Prana in our practice of yoga, we experience clarity, purpose, and most importantly, balance. With the inspiration of my mom, I've been practicing yoga since I was 12. Having suffered many chronic illnesses since childhood, yoga and meditation increased mu vitality and gave me tremendous energy throughout the day.
