This past Saturday’s Spring Dumpster Day, Shredding & Donation Event was an absolute success and our biggest one yet!

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers and staff who gave their time and energy to make the day run seamlessly including PWC Public Works, TrueShred, and Project “B” Green.

We are already looking forward to seeing you again at our next event on September 26. Mark your calendars!

This Memorial Day, we don’t just observe a holiday. We carry the weight of those who gave everything, and we honor our sacred obligation to never let their sacrifice be forgotten.

As we celebrate America’s semiquincentennial, 250 years of our great nation, we remember them, not as statistics or symbols, but as sons, daughters, husbands, wives, and friends who answered the call and never came home.

As we head into the Memorial Day weekend, we want to make sure our residents have the information they need to plan accordingly. There is no scheduled construction activity on the SPUI project this weekend, so residents in the area can expect normal traffic conditions.

Please also note that our office will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 27th. Wishing all of our Neabsco residents a safe Memorial Day weekend!

Prince William County is, by far, one of the greatest counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia and as President of the Virginia Association of Counties, I had the distinct honor of proving it.

Each year, the VACo President has the privilege of spotlighting their home county at the Spring Conference. This year, that honor belongs to Prince William County, and these past two days were nothing short of exceptional.

We started at the 2 Silos campus in Manassas, one of the most visited tourist attractions in the Commonwealth, tackled the critical issues localities across Virginia are facing, and closed with a tour of Nexus 234, formerly the Innovation District, including a visit to ATCC, a world renowned global biological resource center headquartered right here in Manassas, driving innovation in oncology, vaccine development, and biomanufacturing.

Thank you to my incredible staff, VACo staff, Prince William County staff, and the team at Two Silos Brewing Co. whose hard work made these two days run seamlessly. To my fellow supervisors who joined us, your presence meant everything. When Virginia’s localities work together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

I didn’t see this one coming! At the Annual VTA Conference, I was surprised with the Outstanding Contributions by a Public Official Award, recognized for my work as Chair of PRTC. During the conference, I also had a chance to speak with Lt. Governor Hashmi.

This recognition belongs just as much to the riders, staff, and community we serve every day. Grateful beyond words!

Whether you’re getting a morning walk in, sitting on a bench, or just breathing in some fresh air, these moments matter more than we give them credit for.
