Today we are proud to celebrate Mike Enriquez as he finishes his first shift as Lead Medic after successfully completing FTEP!

Mike has been a part of the Woodburn Ambulance 🚑 team for the past four years, and throughout that time he has continued to challenge himself, completing medic school, which is no small task, and now with his hard work and dedication kept him on track as he worked through the FTEP process.

Congratulations, Mike! We are all proud of you! 🎉🎉

This year, Anahi Barragan celebrates 10 years of service with Woodburn Ambulance! ❤️🚑

We first met Anahi as a paramedic student intern, and as soon as she completed medic school, she joined our team as a full time employee. For the past decade, Anahi has been a trusted, dedicated, and beloved member of the Woodburn Ambulance family.

Her commitment to excellence and compassionate care was recognized when she was named Paramedic of the Year in 2024, an honor that was so well deserved.

Now, we are incredibly proud to watch Anahi begin her next chapter as she begins at PA School. While we will miss having her around, we are excited to see her when she picks up shifts as a part time employee, and to see all that she will accomplish and the many lives she will continue to impact.

Congratulations, Anahi, on 10 incredible years of service! We are so grateful for everything you have given to Woodburn Ambulance and wish you nothing but success in this exciting next journey. ❤️

JOINT TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT

On Wednesday, August 5th, Silverton Police, Silverton Fire District, Metcom 911, Woodburn Ambulance, Legacy Health - Silverton Hospital, along with several local law enforcement, EMS, and fire agencies, will be conducting a multi-agency training exercise.

Please note the following impacts:

Training activities will take place between approximately 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the Old Silverton City Hall, Silverton Hospital, and Silverton Middle School.

Members of the public may see participants with realistic mock injuries being transported between the training locations.

There will be a significant presence of emergency vehicles in these areas during the exercise, including a Life Flight helicopter landing at Silverton Middle School.

This is only a drill. There is no emergency.

These types of exercises help our first responders and community partners stay prepared and improve coordination during a large-scale emergency. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we train to better serve our community!
