💜 I’m calling on our community to take action.

This October, let’s come together to Light Up Litchfield County for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Think about what the pink ribbon has done for breast cancer awareness—one recognizable symbol helped make an important issue visible and opened the door to conversations.

We can do the same with purple lights. 💜

I’m asking friends, neighbors, businesses, workplaces, schools, churches, libraries, and community organizations to join us by lighting up purple and helping share educational resources.

One purple light can start one conversation. One conversation can change a life.
