Rediscover the Herbal Wisdom Passed Down Through Generations 🌿
Interest in time-honored herbal remedies is growing—and this fall, you’re invited to explore the plants, practices, and preparations that shaped everyday health in Colonial America. Join esteemed licensed naturopathic physician, herbalist, author, and radio personality Dr. Z for a special two-part workshop on Colonial American Herbal Remedies.

Part One — Zoom Session
📅 September 23 at 6 PM
Begin with an engaging virtual introduction to the herbal traditions, remedies, and knowledge our ancestors relied on.

Part Two — Hands-On Workshop
📅 September 26 at 11 AM
Bring those traditions to life with a garden tour and practical herbal-making experience. You’ll create your own herbal salve—plus your choice of a tonic or cough medicine to take home.

Come learn, make, and connect with the enduring wisdom of the garden. Reserve your place today! https://www.glebehousemuseum.org/single-post/herbal-medicines-of-colonial-america-webinar-workshop

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾 If your pup fancies swapping the sofa for a proper adventure, Lindisfarne Castle is ready to roll out the welcome mat — one pawprint dog-friendly, in fact. Wander the small walled garden designed by Gertrude Jekyll in 1911, explore the castle grounds, and stretch those legs on the surrounding trails.
Just remember: keep dogs on a short lead at all times — Holy Island is shared with sheep, lambs, and ground-nesting birds, who’d rather not make friends today.
A walk with history, sea air, and a very good sniffer-approved route? That’s a tail-wagging win. 🐶✨ For more information about the Glebe House, visit https://www.glebehousemuseum.org
