After a 2 and a half hour search, we followed several clues and safely located our missing person....But he wasn't much for conversation .....Lol. 4 days of training with a great group of folks and fantastic trainers !!!

Residents in the Cedar Forest area may notice an increased presence of emergency personnel and vehicles throughout the day. Please be advised that this is only an exercise and there is no cause for concern.

The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) is concluding a four-day Search and Rescue course, and today’s activities will involve training exercises in the area. These hands-on scenarios provide valuable experience and help strengthen the skills and coordination needed during real-world emergencies.

We appreciate your patience and support as participants complete this important training.

Awesome experience getting to train this week on SAR101 and SAR125 in GPS & Land Navigation from TEMA instructors with some of our great partners from all over Middle Tennessee from Law, Fire, EMS, and EMA...Tomorrow is the fun stuff and get to search over 2 acres for a needle in the haystack.......Ticks and snakes included .....😬
