🚨🧡🏒 WOODBURY WENT FULL ORANGE TODAY 🏒🧡🚨

The Ignite the Orange Bus Tour rolled into town and let’s just say… things escalated quickly 😂

The Woodbury Fire Department had the chance to meet everyone’s favorite chaos mascot, Gritty… and we’re still not sure if we met him or survived him.

He showed up, brought the energy, and may or may not have tried to join the fire crew 👀🔥 (we’re reviewing his application… background check pending).

Big thanks to the Philadelphia Flyers for stopping by and helping us ignite the orange right here in Woodbury! The city showed up loud, proud, and VERY orange 🧡

LET’S GO FLYERS!!

— next time you’re in town, skip the bus… come back and take Ladder 5 for a spin. We promise (maybe) to let you hit the siren 🚒😂

Thank you to all who have worn the badge and to those still standing the watch. Your commitment does not go unnoticed.

Stay safe, and take a moment today to remember and appreciate the brave.

Ladder 5 has cleared a working structure fire in the 400 block of Temple Ave in Woodbury Heights. Ladder 5 operated as the first-due engine, deploying two 1.75” handlines on a 10’ x 15’ shed.

One civilian was transported to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia with burns related to the incident.

The fire is currently under investigation by the County Fire Marshal’s Office.

While clearing that incident, Engine 5 and Ladder 6 were dispatched to the White House Apartments, 39 S. Broad Street, for an activated alarm.

Upon arrival, crews found a trash can fire in a hallway and quickly extinguished it.

Great work by all crews.
