Join instructor DJ DBLW for a fun evening of music, movement, and line dancing at the Mullica Hill Library on Wednesday, June 10 at 6:15 PM. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, all are welcome to join in the fun.

Commissioner Nick DeSilvio was honored to attend the Juniper Village Memorial Day Ceremony, where he presented a Gloucester County Proclamation to Regina Shuster, founder of Support the Troops, in recognition of her dedication to supporting military personnel and veterans.

What began as an effort to provide basic necessities to deployed service members has grown into a mission of assisting local veterans with resources, benefits, and community support.

The ceremony featured patriotic music and brought together residents and veterans to honor the sacrifices of our nation's heroes.

On May 20, Gloucester County seniors gathered at Rowan College of South Jersey for the annual Senior Spring Picnic hosted by the Gloucester County Division of Senior Services.

The event featured lunch, live entertainment, a photo booth, Mister Softee, and more than 30 vendors providing valuable information on programs, resources, and services available to older adults throughout the county.

Director Frank J. DiMarco, Deputy Director Jim Jefferson, Commissioner Tom Bianco, Commissioner Matt Weng, Senator Paul Moriarty, Assemblyman Cody Miller, Sheriff Carmel Morina, and Surrogate Joe Chila joined attendees for an afternoon of fun, connection, and celebration.

Wellness on Wheels Coming to Gloucester County Communities
The Wellness on Wheels (WOW) Van will be making stops throughout Gloucester County June 9–11, providing free health, recovery, and support services to residents in need.

Through a partnership between Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine, Rowan College of South Jersey, and the Gloucester County Board of County Commissioners, the Mobile Recovery Program connects individuals with physicians, nurses, social workers, peer recovery specialists, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), Narcan, testing services, wound care, and referrals to treatment and community resources.

Gloucester County Public Works crews continued infrastructure maintenance efforts throughout the county, completing beaver dam and debris removal projects to improve drainage and protect roadways along CR 639 Ganttown Road in Washington Township, CR 553 Woodbury-Glassboro Road in Mantua and Woodbury Heights, and Marl Road in Woolwich Township.

Additional work included pothole repairs on CR 629 New Street in Mantua Township, inlet cleaning along CR 553 Woodbury-Glassboro Road in Woodbury Heights, and boom mowing operations on CR 612 Williamstown Road in Monroe Township.

These ongoing maintenance efforts help ensure safe travel, improve stormwater flow, and keep Gloucester County's roadway network in good condition for residents and visitors alike.

Gloucester County is in the process of updating its Master Plan. The County is looking for your feedback, we invite you to participate in a virtual public meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 6PM-8PM via Zoom.

During the meeting, Gloucester County and our consultant, WSP, will provide an overview of the project. You will have the opportunity to meet the project team, obtain comprehensive information regarding the Gloucester County Master Plan Update.

The Gloucester County Master Plan is a policy document that will provide a comprehensive set of guiding principles for the orderly development of the County. The plan will develop strategies to manage the distribution of new and proposed housing development, job and business growth, traffic congestion, preservation of open spaces and farmland, access to parks and recreation, and increase the quality of life for all.
