Join us on Wednesday, July 8 at Hollow Park for a special evening of music, history, patriotism, and community as Woodbury commemorates the 250th anniversary of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
The celebration will feature live music by NightShift, a tribute to our veterans, military vehicle displays, community organizations, food and ice cream, the opening of a recently discovered time capsule by the Glebe House, and a community Woodbury Declaration Signing inspired by the spirit of 1776.
Interested in your own family history? Representatives from the Woodbury Senior Community Center will be on hand with a genealogist offering tips and resources for researching, preserving, and recording your familyโs story for future generations.
Children are invited to bring their decorated bikes or visit the Scout Troop 480 Bike Decorating Station beginning at 5:00 PM, then join the patriotic Bike Brigade at 6:00 PM before the concert.
We are especially proud to honor our veterans and active-duty military members. Veterans and active military personnel, along with their immediate families, are invited to enjoy the concert from our reserved VIP seating area!
