Waterside Woolen Mill Built in the 1860's this mill is one of the only fully operating Woolen Mills in the country that st We also offer Photo Tours of the mill.

The Waterside Woolen Mill was built in 1860's and is still operating on the original equipment. The Mill has been closed for many years and has just opened for tours and an antique store in the past 5 years. Blankets, Vests, and Teddy Bears are available to buy within the store, though this past year we have been unable to make new fabric so our selection is very limited and we are currently out o

f Blankets and Teddy Bears. We are working to make more fabric this spring, as the Mill is not heated we cannot work over winter. If you would like to know more or take a tour of the Mill feel free to stop in on Saturdays or contact us through this page or call Denny Wile at 814-766-3719. You pay $75 to come from 9 am - 3 pm. After a short tour you have free run of the mill and can take as many picture as you want. Just wanted to update everyone...the May 14th photo shoot is full. We are working on some more dates and will let you know when they are!

Happy New Year! We have had alot of interest in Photography Groups coming to do photos so we wanted to put the general information out for everyone to see. We do:
- Saturday
- $80 per person
- 9a-2p
- 6 people minimum

Message for a phone number to talk about dates with the owner.

We are also doing an open shoot. If you are not part of a group and wanting to come take photos it will be the same as above without you needing to find 5 friends to come with! We are capping it at 12 people so first come first serve and it will be held on May 14, 2022. Send a message if you would like to be on the list for that day. If we get an overabundance of interest and need to set up a second day that will be announced. We are also thinking of doing it again in the late summer/early fall if May 14th is a success!
